Timothy Allen Finley 59

Timothy Allen Finley, was called by many names Timbo, Timmy, Tim. No matter which name you called
him by we are all saddened by his sudden death. He left this earth for his heavenly home March 9, 2023
in an apartment fire in Longview, Texas. Timbo enjoyed spending time with family and friends, movies
and his beloved dog Sparky who also died in the fire. Timmy lived most of his life in Dallas, Texas, but
moved to Longview in February of 2020 to be closer to family. Tim had lived a life of sobriety for the last
15 years.
Timbo is survived by cousins Cynthia Duke and Deana Duke White, uncle Tommy Duke, cousin Jeramiah
Duke, and his stepbrother Raymond Merrick. Timmy was preceded in death by his mother Bonnie Finley,
his father Tommy Finley, his stepmother Jerri Ann Finley and a stepbrother Gary Merrick.
Tim struggled with health issues but was insistent on living life on his own terms. He was a determined,
kind man with a forgiving heart who loved to help people and animals. A memorial will be held April 8,
2023 at his favorite place in East Texas, the family lake house at Lake ‘O the Pines. In lieu of flowers
