Reginald Young

Service for Reginald Young 54 of Longview will be held Monday June 3,2013 in the chapel of Bigham with Rev. Kelton Wilson officiating. With cremation to follow and burial later in Salem Cemetery in Linden,Texas. Mr.Young died Monday May 27,2013 at his residence. Reginald Young was born on June 22, 1958 in Longview,Texas to the proud parents, of the late Mrs.Joy Lee and Mr.Roy Coleman. Reggie,as he was affectionately called,had a close relationship with his lord and savior,and he began each day with prayer.It was at Galilee Baptist Church under the pastorage of Rev.J.T.Leake that Reggie was baptized. Reggie graduated from Skyline High School in Dallas,Texas in 1977.His first job was at the Ramada Inn in Dallas.He later relocated to Longview,Texas. Reggie was an outgoing person who enjoyed life to the fullest.He loved to engage in conversations,watch movies,football games especially the Dallas Cowboys,and cook.He was an excellent cook. Reggie was a brother,uncle,nephew,cousin,and a friend who will never be forgotten. Reggie had a special bond with his aunt D and nephew,Thomas Jones Jr. Survivors:Two sisters;Willette Jones,Joyce Young.Two brothers;Robert Young and Thomas Jones Sr.A special uncle and aunt Dr.Robert L.Harper Sr.and Willie D.Chapman. A host of Nieces,Nephews,Aunts,Uncles,relatives and friends.
