It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Regina Lynn Wims-Jones, on January 29, 2024, at the age of 52.
Born on December 29, 1971, Regina grew up in Cleveland, Ohio to the parentage of Emma Jean (Wims) Washington and Rickey Reese. At a very young age, Regina
developed the nature of always seeing the glass half full no matter what curveball life threw at her. Nevertheless, Regina’s vivacious smile, natural comedic humor, and bliss cheerfulness always made it an experience to remember.
Regina began her work career at Johns Hopkins in DC and after moving to Texas she worked at Krogers at the time of her call from the Lord, she was employed at Select Specialty Hospital, Longview, TX.
She was a devoted daughter, mother, niece, cousin, wife, and friend, and her kindness and love touched everyone who knew her.
Regina loved traveling, participating in her sorority organization “Rho Zeta Phi” and spending time with her family, especially her children. Her kindness, compassion, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
