Paul Richard Stebbins II 34

Paul Richard (P.R.) Stebbins, II passed away on January 2, 2023 in Longview, Texas. He was born on April 21, 1988 in Longview, Texas to Scott Stebbins and Joan Peterson. To his parents and sister, Jessica, he was the cutest, happiest baby boy that ever lived. His young life was anything but ordinary. He spent a great deal of time with his grandparents and his nanny, Yoyo (Yolanda Van Sanford) and cousins Courtney, Christina, and Catherine. His grandparents loved to travel and they often enjoyed taking their grandchildren with them. P.R. and his cousins were all swimming and snow skiing by the age of three, whether they wanted to or not. P.R. was a well- traveled young man. Courtney, Christina, and Caty were much more like his sisters than his cousins and they are still dear to each other today.

   His Dad, Uncles, and Papa loved playing and watching sports and he fell right in line with the Stebbins family tradition. He played soccer, football, and baseball in youth sports. He loved the Cowboys, Rangers, and Mavericks and loved going to many of their games. According to his sister, Jessica, he loved football so much he had a jersey for every team. Jessica also said he was so good at video games that she thought for sure that he would have been a professional gamer. He loved his nieces and nephew, Natalie, Nathan, and Nicole more than anything. He enjoyed attending their activities, which included soccer, volleyball, and softball games and even dance recitals.

   P.R. was a big-hearted young man and was loved by all that knew him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Dick and Joi Stebbins; step-grandmother, Linda Stebbins; grandfather, John Peterson; and grandmother, Joan Aston.

   He is survived by mother, Joan Peterson; father, Scott Stebbins and wife, Cynthia; sister, Jessica Hutchinson and husband, Scott and their children, Natalie, Nathan, and Nicole; step-sister, Hope Jordan; step grandmother, Sue Stebbins; and adoptive family nanny Yolanda Van Sanford. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

   A Life Celebration® memorial service for Paul Richard (P.R.) Stebbins, II, will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 3, 2023, in The Mausoleum of Rosewood Park Cemetery with Wayne Norvell officiating the service. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all family, friends, and co-workers who were supportive of P.R. through the years.
