Monica L. Lloyd was born on October 13, 1970, to the late Doris Jean Lloyd.

She attended Longview Public Schools,  and was a 1989 graduate of Longview High School.

She leaves to mourn her death, her son Carl Williams, Jr., one brother, Terrance Lloyd, four aunts, Lucille Williams, Christine Lloyd, Dorothy Lloyd, and Lillie King, and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
