Gregory Dewey Mays passed away peacefully on September 16th, 2023, surrounded by family.
A limb has fallen from our family tree, but please do not grieve for me. Remember all the good times filled with laughter and song, the good life I lived when I was strong. My mind is at ease and my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
"We make a living, by what we get; we make a life by what we give." This quote exemplifies Gregory's generous spirit, and humble attitude, regarding life. Gregory had a great sense of humor and loved to make his friends and family laugh. He was a very proud Papaw to his 7 grandchildren; spending time with them was his greatest joy.
