Gary Lynwood Ramsey

While Gary was taken far too soon, his impact on our lives will never be forgotten. From the music we listen to, the movies we love, and being the butt of a joke or prank: he was in every step of our lives.

Gary Lynwood Ramsey was born in Lufkin TX May 4th, 1958, to parents Rosie Virginia and John Benton Ramsey.

He went on to serve in the Navy for four years on the USS Holland in Scotland. Gary passed away on March 15, 2025.

survived by two sons, James Ramsey and Tristan Ramsey, daughter in laws Michelle Luellen and April Ramsey, two grandsons, Kainan and Link, siblings Cassie Wright and John Paul Ramsey, one niece Christina McCarley and nephews JD Ramsey and Brian Hayes. Gary loved the outdoors, music, and movies. His family always came first as well as his love of Jesus Christ. His smile and laugh will be forever missed.
