Evia Mae Morrison Memorial Service for Evia Mae Morrison will be Saturday February 19, 2011 at 12: noon Growing Valley Baptist Church with Rev.C.E.Faulks officiating. Under the caring hands of Bigham Mortuary of Longview, Texas Mrs. Morrison was ill and stricken and fought a courageous fight but on January 31, 2011 her lord told her servant well done. Evia was born to the late Rose Merrills and Johnnie D.jackson Merrills on March 5, 1931 in Kilgore, Texas. She was raised and educated in Longview and graduated from Fredonia High School, at an early age she united with Growing Valley Baptist Church. Serving diligently on the hospitality ministry, usher board, choir and WMU department. She a member of the Heroines of Jericho. She united in holy matrimony with Calors Morrison and to this union four children was born. Eva leaves to cherish here love two daughters; Angelo Webb and Vanessa Hopkins one son; Colovanito DeRail Morrison and devoted friend Monroe Ballard
